Meta introduced the Threads app with great zeal but it seems as if the users have started leaving the ultimate application. The app is still one of the top rivals for X (Twitter). Yet, after an impressive launch and a lot of attention, it is going through hard times.
It is worth mentioning that the Threads app came into existence when users on X were leaving and searching for an alternative platform to get rid of weird changes. But the surprising growth of the newly launched app has suddenly made a turn into a shocking decline.
However, some reports say that Threads will regain its fame among users and hit 23.7 million monthly users by the end of this year. At the same time, X is hearsay to wrap up the year with a count of 56.1 million users.
Though the number is less, Threads has achieved a good grade within a few months of launch. It would be worth seeing how far Meta will be able to give a tough spot to Elon Musk’s X with the new Threads app.
