EA announced this news in a tweet earlier today indicating a June 9 release date for the upcoming shooter, you can see below. The official Battlefield Twitter account broke the news with a brief teaser video that shows the Battlefield logo derived from blue-green imaging artifacts, with familiar, old bits of the Battlefield theme in the background
Wednesday, June 9 at 7 a.m. PDT / 10 a.m. EDT / 3 p.m. BST, but all this we are now ready to give about EA and DICE. Although official news on Battlefield 6 is still in short supply, we are well aware of what could be the next chapter of the series with many obvious leaks.

A video removed from the internal test footage shows a failed rocket launch and subsequent explosions, while some screenshots showing another part of the same video appear to be some VTOL aircraft.
In short, we still don’t know what’s next for the Battlefield series, but it looks like it could be a return to modern times or a switch in the near future. We have not had a complete sci-fi Battlefield game since Battlefield 2142 in 2006. From what we have seen so far, I do not expect Mech and Hover bases to return as part of your next battlefield game Standard military hardware.

According to EA’s financial plans, Battlefield 6 will be released in the third quarter of this year, meaning it will still be a major entry in the Battlefield series as it celebrates its 20th anniversary in September 2022. EA is also planning its EA Play live event for July, so we can get more teasers about its plans for the franchise.
