Among them, the RNG representing the LPL will play against the PPG team from the Oceania Division (LCO) and the UOL team from the CIS Division (LCL) in the group stage.
All teams are divided into three groups according to the number of teams of 3/4/4. Two groups of four teams will play a BO1 double loop match, and groups of three teams will be played in the group.
In the BO1 four-round competition, the top two of each group advance to the rivalry stage. In the competition phase, the six competing teams will compete in a BO1 double-loop competition, and the top four teams will advance to the semi-finals.
In the knockout stage, the four teams in the semi-finals will fight for BO5. In the end, two winners of the four teams will enter the finals. With a single BO5 duel, the strongest will be determined and crowned as the champion of the 2021 mid-season championship.
