Metro Exodus now has PC support for PS5’s DualSense controller haptics

Now you can use your PS5 DualSense controller more fully than ever before on PCs, thanks to the developers at Metro Exodus for 4A games. But after a recent hotfix, the Hoptics for metro players continues the recent hotfix, with a full view of dual-sense and adaptive triggers on display. It is unclear whether Metro Exodus will be the first PC game to get and run the Haptics of the PS5 controller, but it is definitely the first high-profile game.

We like the dual-controller controller here, as we said when reviewing the PS5 from a PC gamer’s point of view. However, others of us are skeptical of putting money in the controller, which fails long before the comparable keyboard and mouse – but fancy haptics can change that view.

On the other hand, Metro Exodus is coming to PlayStation 5 on June 18, boasting a massive graphical upgrade to harness the power of this generation. Offering Ray Tracing and Ray Traced Emissive lighting throughout, DualSense Haptic Feedback support, as well as a FOV slider for the first time in the Metro series and increased framerates and resolution.
