Gmailify is an amazing feature that resides in Gmail but it has reportedly started freezing and restricting to sync of third-party emails in the app. It seems as if the respective functionality is down and will take a few days to come back on the normal track.
To those who are unaware, Gmailify helps non-Gmail accounts like AOL, Yahoo, Outlook, Hotmail, and more with features like Spam protection, better mail notification on phones, Automated email sorting, faster searches, and more.
Although for the past few weeks, Gmailify is failing to sync third-party emails in the application. To be specific, sync occurs very infrequently with periods ranging from once a day to only every few hours. Gladly, a person from the official support page responded to this problem:
This is a known issue and has already been escalated to the team at Google. Currently, we are awaiting a word back from the team.
I have added this thread to the escalation and shall post an update once I receive it from the concerned team.
