The Good Lock is an amazing feature offered by Samsung for its Galaxy devices. While the only thing which disappoints the lower-end users is that it is limited to high-end models. The Good Lock offers many customizable features to make your phone look more attractive than ever before.
Samsung has also recently released a new version of Good Lock that comes with a bunch of new and exciting features such as a new UI, better customizable options, and many more. However, these new changes are only available for the devices running Android 11 based One UI 3.0 or higher.
As per the latest information, the Galaxy Note 9 users that are currently running the older version of Good Lock are having some issues while using the application. A user having trouble posted on Samsung’s Community page stated that the Good Lock is not allowing to use of high-quality GIF files.

In contrast, if the users try to use a GIF file of around 7 to 8MB, the app suddenly stops working. Following the complaints, the Good Lock manager replied, “for the forced shutdown of Good Lock, a log is required for accurate cause analysis.”
The affected users can send the log via error sending that they can find at the bottom of the Samsung Member’s app + home button, then tap on send error and then Send log. Users can try this solution and see if the problem gets solved or not.
The Galaxy Note 9 users are currently using the older version of Good Lock and will not be getting the new version as it’s only available for the Galaxy devices running One UI 3.0 or later. And the Note 9 users are no longer eligible to get another major upgrade.
