Google Assistant now enables you to check your Fitbit as well as Google Fit status. Now the users are free from a long procedure of checking the health track. All you have to do is question your smart assistant.

The users initially have to set the Google Assistant to check their Fitbit and Google Fit status directly. For doing so, follow the steps given below:

  • Open the Google Assistant
  • Go to the Assistant Settings
  • Select the Wellness section
  • Click on Activity to start the process

Although, you can connect both the applications to the assistant. However, only one of them can be active at a time. On the other hand, you can disable the function whenever required. Further, once the set-up is done, you can ask questions to your assistant related to your health status as well. For instance:

  • Number of steps taken in a day or last week
  • Checking the heart rate
  • Tracking the calories you burn when exercising, and more

You will receive the answers on a card displaying an icon and “Data from” headline. The new feature knocked out the door of the assistant with the onset of this week and soon will be available to a wide number of users.
