Google is constantly implementing new AI capabilities to its applications and the Assistant app is no exception to this theory. In the latest edition, the US tech giant is working on Google Assistant functioning and you will soon be able to use it to summarize webpages.
According to the recent Google app v14.29 beta version, the company is preparing a unique ‘Summarize’ option that will show up when users will operate the Google Assistant while browsing or reading webpages. You can ask for it by commanding ‘Summarize this’.
The respective tweak appears when you directly browse the Chrome app or open an application on a webpage in a Custom Tab. However, the feature is currently under development and shows an error when asked for summary suggestions.

In terms of availability, it’s quite unclear whether this feature will remain a Pixel-exclusive or flash on all other Android devices. Though we will keep you updated on this matter.
