Google At a Glance widget is getting new ‘About this content’ section

Google At a Glance widget continues to grab new offerings but this time, the company has implemented an entirely new section – About this content. From the name, this capability will help in showing the latest content using info from your phone and activity in Google products.

Elaborating on the matter, the ‘About this content’ section will show the particular source for the inputs shown in the widget. For instance, the temperature tagged from weather.com as well as Location for weather ability. Besides, the Learn More tab will take you to the official support page.

Similarly, tapping on the term ‘Open’ for links leads you to the website rather than the Google Search-powered experience. Ahead, the section reads – You can customize the types of updates and info that At a Glance shows.

Pixel phone owners can find this change at the top of the launcher app, above the ‘Customize’ tab. Though the Google At a Glance widget update with the ‘About this content’ section is appearing in Android 14 devices with the U.6.playstore.pixel7.551778374 version. Hence, it’s not confirmed whether it will show up on Android 13-based devices.
