Google is now giving attention to the Calendar application and is implementing the all-new ‘mute chat notifications’ feature for the Focus time mode. From the name, the latest change will enable you to completely concentrate on your work without getting distracted by your colleagues.
Focus Time is a functionality that allows consumers to pick their preference for working without any disturbance. One can select the hours and days when they want a calm and chaos-free environment by avoiding meetings and other specific events. However, a few calls or texts from your co-workers can interrupt your focused surrounding.
To save you from such scenarios, Google is adding the mute chat notifications feature for the Focus Time mode in Calendar app. As the term reflects, it will let stop sending prompts when enabled, till the scheduled Focus time is over. After a particular period, it will turn them on automatically.

According to the latest inputs, the US tech giant has begun rolling out the respective feature on June 28. Perhaps, it will be available to all the Workspace consumers by July 27, 2023. So get ready to enjoy a full-focus time with the upcoming Google Calendar update.
