Google Camera 7.5 confirms video sharing, motion blur, audio zoom, and flash intensity features
In June 2020, Google released the Google Camera version 7.4, which enables video recording at up to 8x zoom level (previously it was 6x zoom level) for the Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. Version 7.4 also added a video resolution quick toggle, with that you can easily switch between 1080p and 4K resolutions when shooting videos.
We now have information about the Google Camera version 7.5. Thanks to 9to5google, who discovered new camera features in the Google Camera 7.5 APK, comes with Android 11 Beta. The new features are video sharing, motion blur, audio zoom, and flash intensity. Read below for more details:
Motion blur:
In the teardown of Google Camera 7.5, 9to5google found a new string (below) into the app with the word “Lasagna.” It is a placeholder name for the upcoming camera effect – Motion blur. This new feature should be available alongside Night Sight, Time Lapse, and Photo Sphere. This new feature, Motion blur, likely to give a DSLR-like quality to pictures of moving targets.

Audio zoom:
We are going to see a new camera feature, Audio zoom, which will let you record audio when capturing a zoomed-in video. You can also see in the string below, it confirms the feature information “Boost the sound where the user is zooming in on.” It probably won’t work until your device gets the hardware to record the Audio zoom.
<string name=”pref_audio_zoom_title”>Audio zoom</string>
<string name=”pref_audio_zoom_summary”>Boost the sound where the user is zooming in on.</string>
Samsung has a similar camera feature for its smartphones called Zoom-In Mic. The Zoom-In Mic is a feature first introduced on Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+. With the Zoom-In Mic on the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra, you can use a pinch gesture on the screen while recording video to zoom in or out, and as you zoom in, the sounds of the subject you zoom in on becoming louder. Zoom out, and the surrounding sound is no longer suppressed.

It may take a few days or weeks for the latest version of the Google Camera to be rolled out for all users. The Google Camera 7.5 code also mentions three known Pixel phones with codenames for 2020 — Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a (5G), and Pixel 5. This reconfirms that there will be no Pixel 5 XL this year.
