Google Camera is now renamed as Pixel Camera on Play Store
Google Camera, the popular camera application developed by Google, has recently undergone a name change, the app is now known as Pixel Camera on the Play Store. This change in name reflects Google’s focus on their Pixel smartphones and their camera technology.
The latest version of Pixel Camera only works on Pixel devices running Android 14 and above. Whereas, for wearables, the latest version only works on Wear OS 3 (and above) devices connected to Pixel phones.
Google Camera has been exclusive to Pixel devices for several years, and it’s now being renamed on the Play Store to better reflect that fact. In addition to the name change, the firm has also modified the description of the Pixel Camera app, which you can check below.
