Google Camera port brings improved colors and contrast for OnePlus 8 series, adds support for telephoto and ultra-wide lenses
The OnePlus 8 series gets big improvements in the camera department, thanks to a Google Camera port. It brings improved colors and contrast to the OnePlus 8 series cameras. The camera mod brings support for the telephoto and ultra-wide lenses.
As reported by XDA (Reddit), colors are now more vivid, the contrast is better, exposure is balanced, and less noise in the shadows. There’s a proper telephoto shot, rather than the cropped variety from the stock camera app. It also improves the ultra-wide lens allowing for a more natural image.

Not everything right with this camera port, you can’t take full-resolution photos due to images being capped at 12MP. You won’t be able to use a macro lens while the telephoto and ultra-wide cameras are enabled in the Google Camera mod.
