Google Drive application is now getting an interesting foldable-optimized update. In addition, the US tech giant is giving some touch-ups to the Google Docs app and making it switch to the paginated mode as default on Android.
Consequently, Google apps play a vital role in both smartphones and tablets. And to make this role more effective, the company keeps on renovating its applications and services. In the latest edition, Google has selected Drive to make it more optimized for foldable phones.
According to the information, the Drive app will move various control options within the preview viewer automatically to a more suitable location, depending on the state of your folding handset. For instance, opened, closed, partially open, and so on.
In case you hold a book-style foldable in your hands, then this update of the Google Drive application will enable you to easily manage your files and documents in the Drive. You can check the layout in the below-given images.
Another prominent change is visible in Google Docs which can be shifted to the paginated mode by default. In other words, when you will open a document in Docs, it will display them with pages and page breaks to deliver a more comprehensive visual experience on phone and the web, until the document is set to pageless mode.

In paginated mode, Docs will exhibit a toolbar at the top with all the important formatting and editing tools. These changes are already rolling out and will complete within two weeks.
