Google is rolling out a significant update to the Home application that now lets you set a timer to pause the Wi-Fi connection. Accordingly, the latest version brings two new tabs for the Device Information page that will enable you to have better control over Wi-Fi functions.
According to the inputs, the device information section in the Home app shows Prioritize and Pause buttons. The second option contains timer choices such as 30 minutes, 1, 2, 4, and 8 hours or Indefinite. As of now, you don’t need to recall when to stop or run a Wi-Fi connection manually.

Users can further end the functionality before the time by tapping on the tile. On the other hand, the update has tweaked the icons for points and Family Wi-Fi. The latest Google Home update with timer capability for Wi-Fi connection is rolling out with the 3.5 version for both Android and iOS devices.
