Android Auto is a greatly used application that offers necessary information directly on the display of your car and to provide users with a more seamless experience than before, Google keeps on optimizing its functionalities. However, the 3D buildings view of Google Maps on Android Auto is now rolling out widely.
According to the details, the 3D Buildings on Android Auto were earlier available for a limited number of users, then its reach further expanded to some more models and now this functionality is available widely. As the 3D buildings are now showing up on the Android Auto screen of several vehicles.
To be mentioned, this 3D building of Google Maps in Android Auto comes enabled by default, but if you don’t like this revamped look then you can also turn it off by following some simple steps like going into Google Maps settings and toggling the feature off.
Accordingly, these 3D buildings only appear when Android Auto is in light mode, as soon as the UI switches to dark mode, 3D buildings disappear, but if you force it back to light mode, they immediately re-appear. However, this is the case with some users, the functioning may differ in your car model.
