In addition, the company continues to add new features and improvements to Google Maps through updates to improve performance and stability. Back in March 2019, Google Maps installation had reached 5 billion times, while in 2020, it was used by over 1 billion people worldwide every month.
Now, the latest information revealed that Google Maps has now been installed 10 billion times on Android devices, which makes it the third application to achieve the milestone after Google Play Services and YouTube last July.
The application is one of the standard configurations of Google Mobile Services that most Android device manufacturers choose to implement. In places where this is not standard, such as Amazon’s Fire tablet, it is a very popular map client that can be reinstalled with GMS.
