Google Messages is bringing a new UI to the forwarding texts capability. As of now, you would be able to send a particular message to multiple contacts. Let’s explore this matter in more detail and find out how this change will enhance the app experience.
First of all, forwarding texts UI on Google Messages allows you to send the received messages to several members at a time, without copying or taking a screenshot of it. All you have to do is long press on a message or image. Thereafter, click on the overflow menu and tap on the ‘Forward’ option.
In the latest development, the new interface displays a list of chats along with contact details such as images, names, and phone numbers. It also enables you to create a new message from the field at the bottom side.
While picking multiple contacts, the screen will show checkboxes to ease the selection. Further, tap on the ‘Next’ tab which will take you to a screen where you can add more content. The feature is gradually reaching users and will complete the rollout in the upcoming weeks.
