Google One is adding a new option to VPN that will help in improving the location-based experience for users. As of now, people would be able to change their default IP address from broad to local places. Let’s understand the new change in more detail.

As per the revealings, Google One is implementing a useful change to the VPN to enhance location understanding for individuals. The US tech maker said to start rolling out this functionality by the end of July. Meanwhile, users are already getting aware of it via email.

Speaking of the feature, a new setting will appear in the Google One app on all devices including Android, iOS, Mac, and Windows. This setting will bring an on/off toggle for “use a broader region like your country instead of your local region”. One can enable it for more privacy.
