On Pixel 4, by default, you use the PIN on your phone and on other devices, you can use the fingerprint sensor. Now with the latest update, you can use face unlock to send payment on your Pixel 4.

The face unlock feature is disabled by default, so you’ll need to enable it manually. You can do this by head into the Settings > Sending money and toggle “Use biometrics instead.”

The Google Pay app will then open up the face unlock interface once to verify that your face matches the on-device model and then all set.

Google Pay v2.1 is rolling out now on Google Play.
