Posted on

Google Photos is getting one of the biggest update with a redesigned navigation bar, revamped ‘Memories’ page, some new AI capabilities, and more. The company has recently announced interesting tweaks on its official blog page and is gradually pushing them off to users.

According to the inputs, the new version of the Photos app will bring a new ‘scrapbook-like’ outlook for the Memories feature. Eventually, you would be able to see photos and videos that have been captured together based on particular days, or events.

Moving ahead, the update counts a new navigation bar which has four tabs – Photos, Memories, Library, and Search. It removes the Sharing tab and creates a new look on the home page. Notably, this tweak is only present in the US for the moment. However, the tech giant will roll it out in other regions soon.

Apart from the redesigned navigation bar, the new update for Google Photos adds a touch of generative AI. This implementation will help users to create titles with the “Help Me Title” button.
