Google Photos now has more than 5 billion downloads on the Play Store, while Google Keep has over 1 billion downloads

Google Photos, an app by Google, is a gallery app to view and manage your pictures. It allows edit, filters, and more.

On the Play Store, the Google Photos app has been downloaded more than 5 billion times. It also has approximately 1 billion active users reported as of July 2019 according to Android Police. Google Photos achieved the 1 billion download milestone in 2017.

Google Photos joined the 5 billion download mark and shared the stage with Play Music, Chrome, Gmail, Google Search, Google Maps, YouTube, and WhatsApp. These Google apps now come pre-loaded on Android phones with Google services.

Separately, the Google Keep app achieved the 1 billion download milestone on the Google Play Store. Google Keep is an app to keep notes, create a checklist, and more. Just log in to your account and use it on your all device.

According to Android Police, Google Keep achieved the 500 million download mark last year. Google Keep is the 9th app to make it over 1 billion this year after Android Auto, Google Docs, Dropbox, Samsung Secure Folder, Netflix, Twitter, Google Messages, and TikTok.
