Google Pixel 6 Magic Eraser is not exclusive, other Android users can also get it
This month, Google officially launched the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones. The devices are equipped with a Tensor chip, have relatively powerful artificial intelligence computing capabilities.
The new mobile phone’s default photo album app has a new function called Magic Eraser, which can erase interfering characters in the photo and fill in the background through smart algorithms.

People thought the feature was limited to the Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro and needed to be combined with a Tensor processor to use it. But according to Android Police news, this feature also supports old Pixel phones.
Some users extracted the Google Photos version 5.24 APK file and installed it on Pixel 4, 4a, 5, and 5a phones. All of these can run normally, but for the older Pixel 3a, the Photos Album application cannot be installed.
If users want to use the magic erase function, all they need to do is click on Edit Picture in the Albums app, find this tool, and paint the object to erase it by hand. The software will automatically use deep learning algorithms to fill textures for the erased part.
For some objects with clear boundaries, the software will automatically detect them, and they will disappear once the user clicks.
Google Photos 5.24
According to the reports, the Google Photos version 5.24 app can only be installed on Pixel phones. For other brands of phones, you need to modify the phone’s configuration file to unlock and use the devices, rename the device to Pixel, and then install this application to use the magic erase function.
The Magic Mask Tool can install a plug-in that can simulate the device as a pixel with a single click. It should be noted that there are risks associated with unlocking and rooting the phone, and the user is responsible for it.
