New information suggests that Google Play Store on Android phones and tablets will now focus on applications, games, ebooks, and audiobooks. Now, users can find the three tabs at the bottom – Games, Apps, and Books. However, there might be offers or a Play Pass tab as the fourth option.
These changes will make the navigation easier for users. For your information, Google updated its initial announcement post on Movies & TV, which reads:
Movies and TV is now in the process of being removed from the Google Play app
After reading this, it seems that Movies and TV’s removal process will take some time and stretch until June. On the other hand, Google TV is a much better place for media such as movies, TV shows, rental content, and more. After the death of Play Music, there is no unified place for all digital content on Android. So, you must try Google TV at least once.
