Google Play Store revamps search bar to enhance notification settings
Google rolling out a new update for the Play Store application which revamps the search bar in order to optimize the notification settings. We spotted this modification in the month of January and now it’s expanding its availability to more users around the world.
This new Google Play Store update has appeared with version 34.3.18-21 and it heavily emphasizes the notification settings. Notifications are the essential parts, which were earlier left to be unseen as it was available inside the settings menu, but now they’re in front of your eyes.

Earlier, Google Play shows us an empty search field, a bell icon complete with shaking animation which comes in with a count of how many notifications are available. The blue pill then goes away as the “Search for apps & games” hint and microphone appear.

But now, with this new update, the blue notification bell icon and profile are located outside the search bar, which will directly show you the number of notifications on the top. And with a single click, you will be able to check the notification if it’s useful or not.
