Help me write feature making way to Gmail on Android and iOS
Gmail on Android and iOS devices is finally welcoming a new feature – Help me write. The US tech giant already introduced it with the Workspace tweaks and is now availing it widely among its consumers. As of now, you will get an enhanced way of writing emails on your phone.
Google announced this feature last month at the I/O 2023 stage. The feature is said to be available on Google Docs as well. While there is no such addition in the respective application, you can use the ‘Help me write’ functionality in the Gmail app.
According to the information, the ‘Help me write’ feature in the Gmail application is an AI tool. From the name, it aids users by providing significant suggestions for mail, based on what you have typed in the text area.
Just tap on the ‘Help me write’ tab, which has occupied space at the bottom right corner. As a result, you will get a text that you can put forth in your mail by clicking on the Create option. That’s not it. There is more that you will get alongside this tweak.
Consequently, users can modify the text with the Refine button. As the term reflects, it will offer you a variety of choices to pick your text. For instance, Formalize, Elaborate, Shorten, and ahead generate a draft.
