Not a long ago, Huawei shared the October 2021 safety report for AppGallery to enures the flawless users experience for the app submitted on this platform. This report is about the special rectification enforcement issues in the different weather detection applications on the store.
According to the report, the Huawei team recently carries out a special security test for the weather-related apps on AppGallery, so that it runs a safe download procedure. In this analysis, the testers inspected over 300 application using various AI testing methods.
More precisely, the test set found about 17 messages notification violations and 13 malicious Ads. In addition, there are also seven applications that occupy unnecessary memory, running in phones’ background. What’s more, users won’t be able to uninstall those apps causing the memory running problem.
At present, the inspection team has notified the application provider to solve the problems as soon as possible. The extra memory acquisition results in slower system performance and faster battery drainage. In case, the phone already has the least memory, the screens or apps might start to stuck in between the business.
Besides, the bulk of advertisements of news and others also disturbs the operational performance of the device. Until the developers can’t resolve this issue properly, users are suggested to frequently use the “Phone Manger” while encountering the forced memory running situation.
