According to the latest news, the Indian government has written a strongly worded letter to WhatsApp CEO asking WhatsApp to withdraw the controversial privacy updates for its users.

Adding to this, the government also asked for clarifications to WhatsApp about how user data is collected, used, and shared to Facebook and any associated companies.

As per the previous reports, WhatsApp has decided to revise the date on which people have to review and accept the Terms of Service because the company learned that there’s too much confusion around the updated terms of services.
