Like other OEMs, Samsung also has its own system launcher known as One UI Home. This launcher allows you to open applications and customize the elements of the home screen, such as widgets and themes. It revamped the entire interface of the phone and added many unique features.

The One UI Home has a simple screen layout, neatly arranged icons, and a home screen and applications screen that is a perfect fit for Galaxy devices. After its launch in 2019, One UI Home received several versions and updates to bring new features and improvements.
To be noted, the latest update to the app is compatible with all Samsung phones running Android 9.0 Pie or later.
Samsung has released a new update for the One UI Home app, identified via version V14.1.02.1. However, there’s no new feature or change noted in the update.

Use Full-screen gestures on the Home screen
- You can hide the Navigation buttons at the bottom of the Home screen and quickly switch between apps using gestures. Now, enjoy an even bigger Home screen.
Lock the Home screen layout after rearranging app icons
- This can prevent pages from being added and app icons from being repositioned or removed by accident. To lock the Home screen layout, go to Home screen settings, then turn on Lock Home screen layout.
