According to the WABetainfo, WhatsApp has started releasing a new beta update that removes the multi-device opt-out option, indicating that there is a wider range of versions around. If you have participated in the multi-device beta program, you cannot leave the system now.

For users who have never joined the program, this update will remove you from all previously connected devices, forcing you to reconnect them using the multi-device feature. This change has been given with the beta version of WhatsApp 2.21.23.10.0.
Previously, WhatsApp brought support for multiple devices, a feature that WhatsApp users have been requesting for years. Though, the multi-device feature is only available for some WhatsApp beta users. After some time WhatsApp also upgraded it to the stable version.
As of now, the feature is based on opt-in, which means you’ll need to join the multi-device beta program from the app to try it out. But now that situation is changing, as WhatsApp has started forcing users to update across multiple device versions.
Multi-device support allows users to access WhatsApp on other connected devices without having to connect their main smartphone to the Internet. Users can connect up to 4 non-mobile devices.
This means that you cannot use the same WhatsApp account on multiple phones, but you can use the same account on WhatsApp Web, Desktop, and Portal at the same time.
