Recently, WhatsApp has kicked off a new update for its users through Google Play Beta Program. Users can recognize this update through build version 2.21.24.9. It comes with some bug fixes for a better user experience

According to WABetaInfo, the latest update fixes some issues with mysterious media shortcut. The shortcut is Quick Media Shortcut, which allows to quickly edit media using the drawing editor.
However, a quick edit shortcut is already available on your WhatsApp. You can see this option on WhatsApp while opening images, videos, GIFs. A week ago, the company also announced a new side shortcut when opening multiple media.
With the latest update, the company is removing that shortcut. Currently, there is no information on whether the company will reintroduce this shortcut in future updates.
