Microsoft Authenticator app gets support for address and payment auto-fill
Two-factor authentication (2FA or TFA) is easy, convenient, and secure when you use Microsoft Authenticator. Recently, Microsoft announced that this application now supports automatic filling of addresses and payment information.
Now, the Microsoft Authenticator app lets you save the information when you enter an address or payment information on a website or application. Additionally, the information you save will be synchronized across different devices, including desktop devices using Microsoft Edge and the Microsoft AutoFill extension for Google Chrome.

As expected, the auto-fill data will be encrypted both on the device and in the cloud. However, on iOS devices, you’ll need to copy and paste the synchronized information into the apps and websites you visit.
This application can help you log in to your account when using Microsoft Authenticator to verify. Two-Step Verification helps you use your account more securely, as passwords can be forgotten, stolen, or leaked.
It uses the same second factor as mobile phones, making it more difficult for other people to access their accounts. The Microsoft Authenticator application can be used in several ways, such as:
- Two-step verification: The standard authentication method, one of the factors is the password. After logging in with your username and password, you can approve the notification or enter the provided verification code.
- Phone login: A two-factor authentication version that allows login with username and mobile device as well as fingerprint, face, or PIN without the need for a password.
- Code generation: As a code generator for any other account that supports the authenticator application.
