Microsoft Office now support dark mode in Android
On a PC, especially on a Windows computer, you may best enjoy the full Microsoft Office experience. Since the introduction of Microsoft 365 (previously known as Office 365), it has evolved a lot. However, Microsoft Office for Android is also developing.
This is a powerful tool that allows you to edit and even draft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents anytime, anywhere. Although all three services (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) were originally provided as a single application, Microsoft only recently decided to combine these three services into a “one size fits all” application. Now, Microsoft Office for Android brings a new, much-needed improvement: Dark Mode!

The statement was made by Microsoft in a blog post, although due to a leak, we already know about the feature. Microsoft Office on the PC has supported dark mode for quite some time. It has a black theme for most UI elements, but for programs like Word, except for the page itself (because the paper is white).
On the other hand, since the release of Android 10 more than a year ago, Android has almost supported the dark mode of apps in a native way. Therefore, you might think that this is actually a strange omission, and it should have been supported for a long time. However, this is not the case, but users looking forward to this feature will be happy to learn that this feature is now enabled on the Android version of the app.
Microsoft said that this is a very popular feature of the application, and we believe in them. If enabled, this dark theme will follow Android’s global dark theme; if not enabled, you can also override the system-wide settings, and by clicking on the profile on the “Home” tab, select “Settings”, and then select “Light” to turn dark mode on or off. , “Dark color” or “System default setting”.
