In response to a previous issue of “when you pair a bank card with Apple Pay, scan the card or manually enter the bank card number”, today, China UnionPay officially stated that UnionPay’s mobile QuickPass Apple Pay “One Key Binding Card” function is launched.
The specific steps officially announced by China UnionPay are as follows:
1. Open the wallet app on your iPhone
- In the Wallet app, click the “Add” button
- Aad “Credit or Debit Card”
- Select “Bank or Card Issuer”
Banking apps that currently support the one-click card binding function are as follows –
- China Merchants Bank Mobile Banking
- China Merchants Bank Pocket Life
- China Construction Bank Mobile Banking
- Bank of China Mobile Banking
- Bank of Communications Pay, more banking apps continue to be connected
2. Jump Bank App
- Click the “Open” button to jump directly to the bank App.
- Get the associated bank card information
- “Add it to Apple Wallet”
- Click to enter “Next”
- Take the China Merchants Bank mobile banking app
3. Successfully Tied the card
After reading the “Terms and Conditions”, click “Agree” to bind successfully.
