OnePlus launches ‘Wellpaper’ that shows your Digital Well-being targets
In the past few years, digital health has been a hot topic, especially recently, due to the pandemic, we spend more time in front of the screen. Today, OnePlus introduced “WellPaper”, which is a subtle, almost environmental way that allows you to keep an eye on screen time and the time you spend.
WellPaper is an application not only for OnePlus phones but also for all Android phones on version 7.0 and higher. It can be used as one of three different wallpaper designs, all of which can subtly show how you use your phone all day.

“Composition”, “Luminous” and “Radial” subdivide your daily usage by categories, including games, information/business, entertainment, social, communication, and tools. Each category is assigned a color, and the wallpaper changes throughout the day to reflect the time you spend using the apps in each category.
You can download WellPaper from the Google Play Store
Suppose you play games all day. If so, the color of that part (purple in my device) will be the largest color on the screen. Together with the WellPaper app/wallpaper, OnePlus also launched a portal today that provides resources for digital health and promotes other tools in OnePlus that help achieve the same goal.
It is worth noting that the concept used here is very similar to some experiments released by Google in 2020, but the OnePlus concept takes it further by showing the usage of the phone instead of the usage of the entire phone.
