Google Play Store is getting some new enhancements on board that show the outlook of an app for different devices. As of now, users would be able to see how an application will behave if downloaded on a smartphone, TV, smartwatch, tablet, and more handy gadgets.
The emerging feature has been spotted by a tech player @AssembleDebug on the Twitter surface. Accordingly, the tipster mentioned that Google is testing new functionality for the Play Store that reflects the appearance and outlook of an app for various devices.
While exploring an app, Play Store will flash a new row of chips on the detail page of an application. These chips bear the names of devices like phones, TVs, watches, tablets, and Chromebooks. Tapping on different options will show how the respective app will pop up and behave on the selected devices.

Users will further find ratings, screenshots, and download views just like the original detailed section of the app. Eventually, this addition will make the overall functionalities of the Play Store more effective. The tweak isn’t rolling out widely and still exists in the development phase. Though we could see this change live in our devices in the time ahead.
