Samsung adds One UI 6.1 support to LockStar App
In January 2024, Samsung unveiled its latest iteration of Android custom skin with the Galaxy S24 series, and the firm also started releasing its support for some of its applications with LockStar being the latest. Notably, Samsung LockStar is an app for customizing the lock screen of your Galaxy devices.
Going toward the details, one of the Samsung Good Lock modules – LockStar has recently received a new update which comes with version 6.1.00.4 and adds support for One UI 6.1 software. In addition, the update also adds a change that allows widgets to be freely moved from the bottom fixed position.
Furthermore, the app now only supports the lock screen on devices where the operation between the lock screen and Always On Display (AOD) is integrated. This applies to Galaxy devices running One UI 6.1 or higher.
Consequently, to enjoy these offerings users will need to install a package of around 65.53MB, and users can download the update via this link. If you don’t find it accurate, then you can also visit the Galaxy Store to get the latest version of the Samsung LockStar app manually.
