Samsung copies Apple Siri to redesign its virtual Assistant Bixby
Samsung has made some modifications to the interface of its virtual Assistant – Bixby, and it seems that the Korean tech giant has copied Apple’s Siri to bring this redesign. Because Samsung Bixby now shows up in an interface that’s almost identical to Apple’s Siri.
As per the details, Samsung has released a new update for Bixby, which comes with a version v3.3.53.16 and redesigned the UI of the app. A long press on the power button shows a floating circle with darker blues and a playful purple color, coupled with a mesmerizing liquid animation, to elevate the visual appeal.
To be mentioned, the response UI of the Bixby is different, but the listening design and the floating circle just look like a copy of Siri. Accordingly, Samsung will also continue to support text input, with a text box appearing after a couple of seconds of silence for a seamless experience.
Other than, the redesign UI, the latest update of the Samsung Bixby app didn’t bring any functional changes. Consequently, the subtle yet stylish update arrived a few weeks after the Samsung Galaxy S24 debut and is now rolling out widely to devices running One UI 6.0, and users will be able to download it through the Galaxy Store.
