Samsung Good Lock Home Up application has some bugs, here’s how to fix

The Good Lock is a customizing tool offered by Samsung that is compatible with select Galaxy devices. This application has different sets of modules and apps that allow users to customize every aspect of their UI. The company has also added some more functionalities to Good Lock after the latest One UI 3.0 update.

The Home Up is one of the applications of Good Lock that offers various tools for making changes in the home screen and the app drawer as per the preferences. The company keeps on dating this app with new features and optimizations via updates and recently also a major upgrade was rolled out which brought an integrated task changer module.

Now, as per the latest information, some of the users are facing some issues while using this application. The users are having trouble when they select 7 apps as favorites in the Home Up settings, it automatically reduces the favorite section to just 5. This bug was reported occasionally and the users then reported on the community page.

In response to the problem, the community manager has replied to the users’ report and suggested them to update the One UI Home to version 12.1.01.15 and the Home Up app to version 2.0.01.11. If you are also facing the same problem then you can also update to the latest version. Here are the steps to check for the update:

To check for the update on One UI Home, go to Device Settings > Applications > Samsung App Settings > One UI Home > Home Screen > Information > Check for the latest version. And for the Home Up, the users can go to Good Lock > Click the ‘!’ button in the Home Up menu box.
