At CES 2024, Samsung and Google announced a collaboration to make Quick Share and Nearby Share a single app, and this default application is now making its way to Galaxy devices. Notably, this integration combines the best of both apps, to offer ultimate content sharing across all types of devices in the Android ecosystem.
As per recent information, Samsung is now rolling out its new Quick Share app that adds support for Google’s Nearby Share to Galaxy devices. Notably, this new renewed version of the app helps users to share documents, files, images, links, text, videos, and more quickly and efficiently between devices.
Accordingly, the update is available on the Galaxy Store and brings two major improvements. The first one is the support for as high as 5GB file size limit when sharing files via a QR code or sharing with contacts. Whereas, the second one is the integration of Google’s Nearby Share into Samsung Quick Share.
