Samsung rolling out One UI 5.1.1 support for Good Lock Nice Catch
Samsung is preparing to bring the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 software version to its Galaxy devices. But before that the company will release a specific iteration of UI, the One UI 5.1.1 based on the Android 13 operating system, which will further support various Galaxy devices and apps.
The One UI 5.1.1 iteration will come pre-installed with the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 somewhere in late July or August 2023. Just like the One UI 4.1.1 debuted alongside the fourth-generation foldable in 2022. However, the software is said to bring some significant improvements.
Meanwhile, the Korean tech giant has now only started adding the One UI 5.1.1 support for one of its applications called the Samsung Nice Catch Good Lock module. This will make the app compatible with the upcoming One UI version and let it perform accurately once the company releases a stable version.
Therefore, the One UI 5.1.1 software support is added to the Samsung Nice Catch Good Lock module via the June 2023 update. Nice Catch is a tool that shows a detailed history of when apps made vibrations, changed the ringer mode, changed call mode, displayed ads, showed popups, and much more.
Moving on, the June 2023 update for the Nice Catch app has arrived with the One UI build version 5.0.01.02 and an installation package size of 6.45 MB. Also, the update is available to download on Galaxy Store and is compatible with Galaxy devices running Android 13-based One UI 5.1.
