Sony’s PlayStation application now has more than 100 million downloads on Play Store

Whenever an app installs 100 million on the Play Store, it’s worth noting. From podcast players to streaming services, it’s a sign that an app has really cemented its legacy on Android.

It doesn’t often happen that three apps reach these goals simultaneously, but it has become exactly what happened today. PlayStation, myAT&T, and the Moto Photo Editor, Fame’s Play Store Hall, all have their own places.

Clearly, the PlayStation mobile app is the most popular of the three. Built as a partner service for the PS4 and PS5, it allows gamers to connect with their friends, plan party sessions, and purchase new titles on the PlayStation Store.

The app went through a full redesign last fall, and while recent reviews have merged on the new layout, its wishlist has returned after a few months of fan complaints.

myAT&T doesn’t have as much built-in fun factor as the PlayStation, but it’s an essential app for many Android users to manage their phone bills and buy new devices. Meanwhile, Moto Photo Editor is a special application available for Motorola phones.

It hasn’t been updated since 2018 and the only feature in the app is the cutout mode used to change the background of the photos. And yet, it is the highest-rated of the three apps in this roundup.

If you’re keen to check out any of these apps, you can check out each Play Store listing below. PlayStation and myAT&T can also be downloaded from APK Mirror.
