Spotify has recently introduced an all-new AI translation feature that will let you hear your favorite podcasts in your native language. Notably, the respective capability uses the OpenAI voice generation technology to perform relevant operations.
To make AI Voice Translation a perfect feature, Spotify is working with different podcasters. For instance, Dax Shepard, Monica Padman, Bill Simmons, Steven Bartlett, and Lex Fridman. Perhaps, this step will form AI-powered translations in several languages including Spanish, French, and German for both existing episodes and future ones.
Consequently, this functionality will be available to both Premium and free users. Spotify says that the feature will offer a more authentic listening experience to users. As per the revealings, the company will begin the pilot program in the upcoming weeks, showing some important insights for future expansions.
