Spotify is bringing some great news for its consumers in the form of free audiobooks. Now you can listen to your favorite audiobooks even if you don’t carry a premium account in your device. How is this possible? Let’s dive into the details.
Just like any other service on Spotify, users are required to pay for each audiobook they are going to listen to. The price relies upon the book you will pick and appears in the library after it is purchased.
So far, Amazon has been providing some free audiobooks to its users after signing up and it looks like, Spotify will soon start following the same path. As per the details, the company is likely to initiate a pilot program for a free trial for audiobooks.
Eventually, you will be able to listen to audiobooks for up to 20 hours per month without paying any price. On the flip side, you would be able to test-drive different books to see if you want to buy them. Things are still under the hood but we will keep you posted on this matter.
