Spotify will no longer let you pay through App Store

Spotify is making some restrictions for its subscribers where they won’t be allowed to pay via App Store. That’s right! The company has started sending emails to its consumers, specifically those who are using App Store about the new changes.

Well, Spotify is one of the most popular music streaming services across the globe. The company offers the best facilities when it comes to listening to your favorite songs and podcasts. However, the recent modifications in the legacy may upset users to some extent.

According to the information, Spotify is no longer allowing users to pay from the App Store. Though the company already halted the signup process for Spotify Premium using App Store, it’s now completely marking an end to the use of the respective source.

In the emails sent to users, the company uttered the following words:

“We’re contacting you because when you joined Spotify Premium you used Apple’s billing service to subscribe. Unfortunately, we no longer accept that billing method as a form of payment.”

Spotify customers who have a subscription through the ‌App Store‌ will have their accounts changed to the free ad-supported service. Thereafter, they will need to resubscribe to Premium using the Spotify website.
