According to the information, the founder of Telegram – Pavel Durov recently confirmed that the app will soon show up a new feature called Stories. Currently, the change is in development, and is hearsay to complete the testing phase in early July.
Notably, the Stories on Telegram will not only provide a vibrant look to your profiles but also add informative elements so that users could get more content from their closest contacts. In addition, we may find some more tweaks, which are given below.

Telegram Stories – More new tweaks
- Privacy: After the update, you will be able to control who can see your stories, choosing between all, only contacts (with exceptions), selected contacts, or even a list of Close Friends.
- Compact UI: Stories will be shown in an expandable section at the top of the chat list, ensuring easy accessibility without taking up excessive space.
- Flexibility: Ahead, you will be able to hide Stories from specific contacts, moving them to a “Hidden” list in the Contacts section instead of showing them on the main screen.
- Captions: Yes, you will get powerful photo and video-editing tools, along with the ability to provide captions to add context, and links, and tag other users.
- Dual Camera Support: Building on the success of Telegram’s Video Messages, the platform will allow users to post photos and videos taken by both the front and rear cameras simultaneously.
- Optional Ephemerality: Users will have the option to set an expiration time for their stories, ranging from 6, 12, 24, or 48 hours, or choose to display them permanently on their profile page, with customizable privacy settings for each story.
