Threads app is again taking up space in the headlines with a new Following tab for Android devices. Eventually, this functionality will display threads in order of their occurrence. Notably, this is one of the most requested features and Meta has finally brought it to the surface.
So far, Threads in the application used to appear in an algorithmic feed. It means that users were getting content from people they follow as well as those who aren’t in their following list. Besides, it never appeared in a simplified order and often puzzled users seeing the past few minutes or from a day ago threads at the same time.
However, the new following tab in the Threads app for Android fixes this annoying problem completely. As of now, this feature exhibits threads from only users you follow, and that too in chronological order. Ahead, you will see the ‘For You’ tab for your convenience.

The new capability is rolling out in a server-side update and is available for both Android and iOS. To access, tap the app’s home button to see the tab switcher.
