WhatsApp is working on new message reaction notifications feature
Back in August this year, WhatsApp announced the new message reaction feature for its iOS users. It allows users to express their sentiments for that particular message. This is similar to how reactions are available on platforms including iMessage, Instagram, Twitter, etc.
Meanwhile, new information related to this suggests that WhatsApp is also working to enable message reaction notifications. This means that when other users react to a message, WhatsApp will issue separate notifications for them. Users do not need to open the app again and again to check the responses.

WhatsApp Message Reaction Notifications
On this matter, the WABetaInfo has shared the preview image (attached below) that shows WhatsApp is designing a new reaction notification setting bar. The users will be able to enable and disable the sound manually as some of them don’t want to be notified while receiving a reaction.
Adding to this, the users can also customize the sound effects and can select the notification sound from the available list.
Availability:
As mentioned above, WhatsApp will approve this feature as soon as the message reaction is available to the users. However, nothing is clear in this matter yet. But one thing is for sure, WhatsApp will not leave any platform to send this feature, which includes iOS, Android, and WhatsApp Web/Desktop.
WhatsApp Message Reaction:
Going by the previous reports, WhatsApp users will be able to use the available emojis to react to a message. Furthermore, a single message can receive multiple reactions (approx 7) in a group. Still, there is limited info revealed on this matter.
