WhatsApp rolling out new UI for ‘Linked Devices’ tab, Multi-Device feature could come next

Recently, WhatsApp has started asking its users to accept the revised terms of services. As per the reports, the new policies force users to agree with their data sharing between WhatsApp and Facebook Companies.

Furthermore, the popular messaging app also hinted that the multi-device feature will soon be available for the beta testers. And now, we have new information on this story that you should know.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp started rolling out a new beta update which comes with a new user interface for the ‘Linked Devices’ menu for WhatsApp Web/Desktop. This new feature comes with WhatsApp Beta 2.21.1.3 version.

The blog also shared a preview that shows this new UI will be used for multi-device. The multi-device feature allows users to use their WhatsApp account on multiple devices at the same time even when the main device remains disconnected from the Internet.

Currently, this feature is rolling out for WhatsApp Android users gradually. It may take some time to arrive for your account. It is worth mentioning that the messaging app is only updating the user interface of the Linked Devices tab. The multi-device feature will be rolled out in the coming future.
