WhatsApp has released a new beta update for Android with version V2.21.25.11 through the Google Play Beta Program. This beta update shows that the Message Reaction info feature works on Android.

Still, the feature is under development and the company is planning to release this feature in future updates.

WhatsApp is constantly working on bringing new features and customization options to improve the user experience. In a recent development, WhatsApp removed the Migrate Media and Edit Media shortcut options as well as released the playback speed feature for audio messages.

Now, as per the WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is planning to rollout the Message Reaction feature. In the future, this feature allow you to react to messages just like Instagram. Whether it is a group chat or individual chat, message reaction will be available and everyone can see who replied to the message to just check the reaction information.

According to the shared screenshot, it seems that all reactions are placed in the first tab named “All”, and then WhatsApp groups that react to messages with specific emoji, a separate tab in the middle. However, the users will be able to react to a specific message once with any of 6 emojis.

Earlier, we already discovered the ability to react to WhatsApp messages during the beta version for iOS and now the feature is under development for Android users. Currently, we don’t have any information regarding the release date of this feature.
